Safer gambling
Gambling should cost you no more than you decided to spend before you started. This page sets out every control available to you, the one that is specific to paying by phone bill, and where to get free help.
Ask your mobile network for a charge-to-bill bar. It is free, takes one call or a few taps in your account settings, and blocks carrier billing on your number completely.
This matters because of a gap most people do not know about: a bank gambling block will not stop a pay-by-mobile deposit. The money never passes through your bank. It is added to your phone bill, so a block sitting on your card or current account never sees it. If you have set a bank block and still find yourself depositing, this is almost certainly why.
A charge-to-bill bar closes the rail at the network, which means it applies to every casino at once and cannot be undone inside a cashier. Reversing it means contacting your network — which is exactly the friction that makes it effective.
Carrier billing is capped at roughly £30 a day and £240 a month by your network. That ceiling is not a gambling safeguard by design — it is a credit-risk limit — but it functions as one, and it is firmer than any limit you set on yourself.
A self-imposed deposit limit can be raised, usually after a 24-hour cooling-off period. The carrier ceiling cannot be raised at all: not by you, not by the casino, not by customer support. For anyone who has watched one card top-up become four, an external limit nobody can argue with is worth more than a voluntary one.

Most of the casinos we list share a platform. Sixty-one of them run on Jumpman Gaming's system under a single Gambling Commission licence, and they share a self-exclusion list along with everything else.
Excluding yourself at one of those sites commonly excludes you across the whole family. That is worth knowing in both directions: it is far more protective than it appears, and it is not something you can undo site by site.
Gambling has stopped being entertainment when any of the following becomes familiar. None of these is a moral failing, and all of them are common enough that free, specialist help exists precisely for them.

No. A bank gambling block cannot stop a carrier-billed deposit, because the money never moves through your bank account — it is added to your phone bill instead. To stop pay-by-mobile deposits you need a charge-to-bill bar from your mobile network.
Yes. Every UK network applies a charge-to-bill bar free of charge on request, usually within one phone call or through your online account. It blocks all carrier billing on the number, not only gambling.
Yes. GAMSTOP covers every operator licensed by the Gambling Commission to serve British players, which includes every casino listed on this site. Registration blocks you from all of them at once.
18+ only. Gambling can be addictive. Never gamble money you cannot afford to lose, and never gamble to solve a financial problem.
